Hanoi, May 29, 2026 – Hanatour and Silk Path Group officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at Silk Path Hotel Hanoi, marking a new milestone in expanding engagement with Korean travelers – one of Vietnam’s fastest-growing international visitor segments.
In recent years, South Korea has remained one of Vietnam’s largest and fastest-growing inbound tourism markets, with rising demand for premium leisure travel, golf tourism, and cultural experiences.
In response to this growing trend, HanaTour and Silk Path Group officially signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 29 May at Silk Path Hotel Hanoi. The partnership aims to strengthen connectivity with the Korean market and jointly develop travel products and experiences tailored to the evolving needs of Korean travelers.

Representing Hanatour Headquarters were Mr. Ryu Changho – Vice President, Supply Division, and Ms. Seo An Da – Tour & Activity Supply Support Team Leader, while Hanatour Vietnam was represented by Mr. Hong Jungmin – General Director of Hanatour Vietnam. General Managers from Hanatour’s Hanoi-based DMCs – Viko, DK and Newflex also participated in this special event.
Representing Silk Path Group at the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy – Chief Business Officer, Ms. Dao Thi Tuyet – Revenue Manager, Ms. Trinh Linh Chi – Director of Marketing, and the Leaders of the Sales Department of Silk Path Group.

Through this agreement, Hanatour and Silk Path Group aim to establish a long-term partnership focused on developing tourism and hospitality experiences tailored to the evolving preferences of Korean travelers.
Both parties also expect to expand collaboration across destination marketing initiatives, tourism product development, golf and resort experiences, FAM trip programs, and cooperation between Hanatour’s international customer network and Silk Path Group’s hospitality ecosystem in Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ryu Changho stated that Vietnam is currently one of Hanatour’s key markets in the region, with Hanoi and Sapa among the destinations most frequently chosen by Korean travelers. The Hanatour representative also spoke highly of Silk Path Group’s hotel and golf portfolio in Vietnam, noting that the Group’s service quality and hospitality standards provide a strong foundation for long-term collaboration between the two parties.

On behalf of Silk Path Group, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy shared: “With Hanatour’s experience and international customer network, we expect this partnership to create further opportunities for connection and contribute to the development of products that better meet the needs of Korean travelers. This also represents an opportunity for Silk Path Group to continue introducing distinctive Vietnamese hospitality, cultural experiences, and services to the Korean market as well as the broader international market.”

Moving forward, the two parties plan to prioritize collaboration in hotel room allocation, golf services, sharing market information, and developing tailored travel experiences for Korean travelers.
The MOU marks a significant milestone of growth in the long-term partnership between Hanatour and Silk Path Group, paving the way for broader tourism and cultural exchange between Vietnam and Korea in the years ahead.
