On November 23, 2024, the iconic Thai Hoa Palace in Hue’s Imperial City officially reopened following a meticulous three-year restoration project. Constructed in 1805 under Emperor Gia Long, Thai Hoa Palace served as the ceremonial heart of the Nguyen Dynasty. It hosted pivotal events such as coronations, royal anniversaries, diplomatic receptions, and bi-monthly court sessions on the 1st and 15th days of the lunar calendar.
